10 K marathon round the Orme Today, will the Marine Drive Be Closed?

I was telling Ian Blain that I was intending to go up the Orme to-day and he advised me that there was a major 10K marathon taking place starting at 1200hrs. Does anyone know about this?

Yep the Nick Beer 10k today. Rhey dont normaly close it all day maybe just an hour or so. Same for the conwy half marathon thats a bigger event and they dont close that at all.

Dont know for a 100% fact but thats what happens in previous years

Well flat calm in Trefnant anyway.
After about four years my Le-Fish was ready to fly yesterday but when testing the radio this morning it stopped responding, after some deliberation I cut a hole to get to the receiver etc and found a faulty switch, cut the switch out and was just putting a new one in when I had a call that my younger sister had been taken into Glan Clwyd. So I think the maiden flight of the oldest non flying fish in Clwyd will have to be rescheduled.

So if you do go today, the Marine drive is open and there is enough wind I wish you have a nice day.

Jem and myself enjoyed 4 cracking hours up there this afternoon 14 - 20 mph winds.
Enjoyed some great side splitting combat, 3mtr scale and fast smooth half pipe action. Just what the doctor ordered.

Ahh well seemed really calm at the rugby club

Had to call in at work and it was quite windy there for a while
