I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Dates ???
Just in the process of updating the club webpage are there any other events besides the Open Day, IMAC, and the Aerotow planned for this year? I think I heard mention of a possible scale day, if so can someone fill me in on the date please.
Re: Dates ???
Hey Brian,
The list of agreed dates are in this thread here : https://rdmfc.forumotion.co.uk/club-matters-f13/events-list-for-2009-t312.htm
Good idea putting it uyp on the club site too
Cheers

Re: Dates ???
Can you confirm the date of the scale/electric day as Dave Sargent has indicated that the newsletter has a different date than quoted on the forum I have it posted as 6/9/09 on the website until I hear otherwise We seem to be in a situation of the left hand not knowing what the right's doing here
Re: Dates ???
Indeed. Sorry about that.
The dates on my post in the thread linked above, were agreed at a committee meeting earlier this year. I have no idea why they have been changed in the Newsletter. Suffice to say, the dates in that post ARE DEFINATELY CORRECT. The Newsletter is definately INCORRECT!
I'll get RT to email out a correction to all the members.....
Cheers

Re: Dates ???
Yet another question on the electric/scale day. If it's scale can it be I.C. powered Not being pedantic just seeking clarification
Re: Dates ???
Of course it can The idea was that we mix the two to try and encourage as much of the club as possible to participate. Pretty much every member will have either an Electric model, or a scale model (either electric or IC).
If you have an Electric Scale model, you get a bonus point or two

Re: Dates ???
If it's your Hawk, you get a point deducted for non scale panel lines Tim.
I'm going to go for my second "Mr Scale Uk" award of the year anyway, so you can't win!
Cheers
