I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Its the 20th Charles Hampson Grant memorial Mass Launch of Cloud Tramps on Aug 2nd at 5.00 pm BST. Its a global event so the time is important! Some people even launch at sea

Anyone not familiar with the Cloud Tramp its a 22 inch all sheet rubber powered model and for those that don't know, not to be under estimated!

The build time is approx 2 hours without a kit and about 1 with. Plans can be downloaded from the event page here - http://www.mikedparker.karoo.net/ and there's a link to Flighthook who may have kits

The 2nd Aug is control line day but I'll be taking time out for this depending on wind direction

So, dig out that olde prop and some rubber or even laccy bands and you're away! Such simple and delightful pleasures!
