I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Re: 450MF Carbon Quad
I will get a few flights under her belt then add a brushless camera gimbal to the frame on the lip of the bottom plate.
As on the 330LF, Andy has done a great job with the design, everything fits as it should and goes together in no time using stock DJI F450 parts.
Only had one brif test fly so far as I need to tune the gains but it flew well and has great presence in the air.

Re: 450MF Carbon Quad
I hummed the cricket theme tune...
Did you leave the rear right (top) arm bolt out on purpose?
It looks good though, especially with the carbon props.
If anyone else want's one of these airframes, I have one set of plates available. Yours for cost price, as it is still a prototype, of £25, and that includes a set of stainless bolts, and ally frame spacers.

Good choice on the tune, and yes I left it out to save weight

Re: 450MF Carbon Quad
Isn't it? For some reason I want to sit out in the garden, feet in the paddling pool, drinking beer though. Funny how humming a tune can do that.
Congratulations on the 0.556 grams saved with the bolt omission. Every little helps.
Andy
PS. this post was created whilst humming the dambusters theme...

I'm on to the theme from the A-Team now. I usually reserve humming that for the drive to work....

Good call! The A-Team theme works for me, especially on that bit of Glascoed road where they have buggered up a drain access panel, and there is a bit of a ramp...
