I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Another early start saw me heading over the M62 again for the second league event of the year and a day of mixed Fortune lay ahead

Rd 1 - flight went well solid start 2nd

Rd 2 - clipped a light fitting on a stall turn zeroed the round

Rd 3 - took off and elivator trim was well out no time to trim out properlybut got trough a scrappy shedule, not sure why I had so much down trim can only think it was as a result of the light clip and I didn't notice.

Rd 4 - flown back to back with 3 and after the drama of sorting the Eli out I forgot to change lipo juice was going 6 moves in so I abandoned and landed as to not damage the model with it dieing on a up line

Rd 5 - fresh lipo and wanting to finish on a high I flew the shedule a bit faster than normal but went ok bar the touque roll finished the round 3rd

Overall result 5th so a bit annoyed with myself as I reckon I threw away a podium but also happy that when it all works as it should I'm right in the hunt.

The standard of flying is so high in every class now that any mistake is punished hard. You get to drop your lowest score but I had 3 so had to carry 2 of them into my overall tally.

The task is simple win the next 3 comps and I will the league!

As from my competition experience it's all about the competing and enjoying, if you don't enjoy, no point competing.

Well done, it takes a lot of time & effort to compete let alone win

And a wow they do fly slow what a difference a year makes
