I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Hobbyking SS series ESC
Anyone know anything about these? (apart from the fact they are basic budget esc's).
Bought a couple and think I may have copped a duff one! Two worked straight out of the box, but the third seems to keep going into programming mode whenever the tx is switched on regardless of throttle stick position!
Finding it hard to decifer all the beeps as the manual is extremely basic, and it just seems to beep when it feels like it as many times as it wants!
Just wondered if anyone could shed any light on what the ***beep*** is happening!
Ta all!

Re: Hobbyking SS series ESC
I have used them, and have one in use currently in my PC9.
SS = Super Simple.
I just teach the throttle travel throw, and thats it. If your duffen wont play ball, then prob safe to assume its naff. Have yu tried the duffer on the same installation as the other two?

Cheers for the reply Tim (Nice to talk to you by the way! )
Taken all three out of their installation and connected each in turn to RX and battery pack. Two playing ball - Pretty convinced this one is goosed!
New ESC's bought and on their way! - Problem solved I guess!
