I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

I probably could have done with being an hour or two earlier to get some better light..... Never mind, me and "on time" are effectively strangers. At least until sunday morning.,...

That's because your stomach will be calling the shots instead of Jackie/Jacky?
Re: random Flying field pics
Hey, Jackie has absolutely nothing to do with my tardiness. It's a skill I am proud to honed over the years all by myself. And yes, breakfast will be calling on Sunday morning!
I've just had the smoke delivered for sunday too...

I think it is time to escalate this. I bet you one English breakfast at the Whistlestop, that I will be there on or before 8.30am on sunday. If I arrive at 8.31am or later, I buy you breakfast. If I am there at 8.30am or earlier, you buy me breakfast.

Oh, and if anyone wants to mount a smoke cartridge on a plane/glider/multirotor, you just need a relatively heat proof surface to mount it to. The cartridges cases can get to about 50-60 degrees C when burning. They output quite a bit of red smoke, probably for about 60-90 seconds.
