I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

    Evening all.

Just a quick query, where do people buy their balsa/ply and other assorted wood stock for their traditionally built models? I've been having alook at Balsa Mart, and their prices/delivery seem pretty reasonable...

    Cheers

I have bought most of my wood in the past from the SLEC stand at the shows, the advantage of doing your shopping at shows is you get to pick the grades that suit your needs best and of course there are no P&P charges to worry about. Wink

You mean there are different grades of wood?! Shocked I thought it just came in different sizes Smile

Perhaps I should stick to foam.... Smile Nah!

Cheers for the SLEC suggestion though, It seems they do mail order, so that's good Smile
