I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Got to the field at about 15.30, no one about. Wind was a howling gale at times right accross the strip from the road direction and almoast flat calm at other times. Waited until 16.30 and presumed no one else would be mad enough to venture down so I left.

OK, so Andy (petrol head) Sayle beat me to it. What a blast.
First I managed to land my kite in the river
Then Leigh, Jem and myself got the buggies out.
