I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Summer comes early!
Anyone for the field tomorrow or Sunday? The forecast is almost too good to be true...

Re: Summer comes early!
Jem called to see me today and he'd just been down to the field Allan and from what he said about the state of the field I think you're being optimistic. Jem said it was difficult to walk and said it would be nigh impossible to fly anything with an undercarriage.

No problem! Take off the spats and fit bigger wheels
Not that many of mine have wheels anyway. In fact the longer softer grass makes landings a bit less stressful on the airframes of those that don't
Batteries cycling now

Re: Summer comes early!
If you do go I would recommend larger wheels and lighter airframes if rog from the strip
