I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Hello - Im Ben! What a Face

Just thought I had better post as I havent done so for such a long time - just wanted to let you all know that im still alive really!

Many, many, many reasons why I havent been on lately - work commitment has increased dramatically, kids taking up loads of my time and had a ridiculous amount of expense recently - car clutch, new battery, wheel bearings, timing belt, new keys (bloody kids!), 8 new car tyres! Tumble dryer went bang, new toilet (dont ask!) - so not really had the money or time for flying of late!
If im completely honest - with all the poor weather this year, I have started to drift from RC!
Anyone who knows me, knows im a family man so have to plan my flying sessions in advance - weekends are quite awkward, and there is only so many times you can advance plan and build up to a flying session and have it rained off before it starts to take its toll!
Sorry to say, but im very much in the "Whats the bloody point" mindset at the minute!

I felt the same during the summer. Now we're indoors I've picked up a few new toys and I'm excited all over again.
I even built a plane and found some new realms of pleasure. Embarassed

What kind of 8 wheeler car do you drive?! Shocked

You should try popping along to the indoors on a saturday at some point, it's worth it, if only to laugh at Danny trying out fixed wing!

Ben dont give up, just come along to the rhyl indoor. Its a great larf and you can have a go with one of my 2 rammies that im learning on if you like. Very Happy

Thanks all for the replies and offers! - As I said in my earlier post though, weekends are hard for me, so I cant see me popping into the Rhyl indoor anytime soon to be honest! Sad
