I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Due to problems at the airfield the modelling part of this years show has been cancelled, the rest of the event has been moved to a local park (Victoria Park Southport I believe).

Apparently, the Woodvale resident moles have been busy being moles and have dug over and revealed asbestos from some of the old redundant buildings.
So, for now, as a precaution, no access to the airfield.
