I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Festival of Filght RAF Barkston Heath
Alarm went off at 5.15am this morning!
Of to RAF Barkston Heath I went for the first UK Classic areobatics meet. The midlands area festival of flight is exactly that all disciplines catered for control line, pylon, f3a (this year classic as the f3a boys were at a world cup event) scale and IMAC
I arrived at 0830 to collect my weapon of choice, a Cresent Tornado from PB Models with an evo 60 for power and headed for the f3a line.
As only six of us turned up for the classic meet the shedules were scraped and a fun fly begain (although we all had a crack at the shedules) trophies were awarded for pilots pilot and concourse.
Got some pic's from the line as there was some that I know Alan P will like as well as some others. Didnt capture any from the rest of the lines sorry.
Also a mention to Rich B who was also there flying the RDFMC flag judging on the IMAC line

Latest RCME has an article on fuel ( model technics ) and their boffins reckon if its kept sealed in a dark room, it will last vitually forever, as all the water its ever going to absorb, has done so before it even reached the bottle.
