I've been trying to remove a glowhead from a Cox .049 engine without any success, despite using heat it refuses to budge. All I've succeeded in doing so far is bending two Cox spanners! Has anyone else come accross the same problem if so how did you overcome it? Question

Try popping it in the freezer for a few hours. That may cause the metal to shrink slightly, enough to break any sort of bond that is between the head and body. If it doesn't work, try applying heat to the really cold body, and that may help.

Failing that, you are going to need a bigger spanner!
