I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Re: Sat 25th.
I've been already this morning.
Incidently as I was cutting the strip the cattle came for a look, they were getting pretty close to the entrance by the battery box so I decided to close it off & connect the fence while I was inside, suprisingly the cattle were licking the top ribbon woth no effect to them, only occasionally one would jump back, if you guys go there today you'll notice I've connecteed the fence to one of the batteris outside the box this wil let the battery inside get a charge all day.
Someone has the fence tester I think, correct me if I'm wrong but if anyone knows where it is, can we keep this inside the fence box for testing.

Re: Sat 25th.
Has the meter earth post now been connected? The recommendation is that this posts needs to be, to work correctly with a three line system. The short side post that was being used may not be earthing as required (6" or so?)
I also remember being told that the cattle kick the battery box, hence the need for the top tape to go across both posts, just remember not to head butt it! and the two tapes below are left un-connected to the live system.
