Got my mum back yay.

Afternoon everyone, just thought I'd let you know my mum was finally discharged after her stroke and is home after making an almost full recovery.
It's been a long few weeks and the only thing you can notice is that her left upper lip has no feeling and doesn't move properly,other than that a full recovery.
I'm nervous leaving her on her own at the moment but social services are installing a panic button of sorts and are sending someone once or twice a week to keep an eye.
Once everything's back to normal I'll be back to flying as normal. I know Richie's been missing me and the superior flying species.

Really great news Danny boy- glad she is making a good recovery!

Glad shes home danny and hopefully it sounds like you will have in place a home care package usually organized by her hospital social worker.

Thanks for the nice replies, yeah the results from scanning her arteries came back as being fine so they let her come home on Friday.
Thanks Steve, hopefully they'll be in touch this week. We filled in some forms for this panic button and just waiting for someone to pop round. I'll let you know when they get in touch cos this is all new to me.
