Butts?

Having just mentioned fire hazards in a post elsewhere has jogged my memory on another issue. Whilst mowing with Rich the other night I noticed there were a lot of cigarette butts (and other litter) around both in the pits area and around the flightline. There are two issues here firstly the one of fire hazard in the pits as a lot of guys now fly petrol which is more volatile than the methanol fuels although all are equally flammable, secondly there's the issue of what Henry our farmer may think of said butts on his field. Just a timely remider that's all, there is a wet and wonderful place to dipose of your dimps just behind the pits

Hi Dave not on a witchhunt mate nor after a smoking ban just don't want us to lose the field over a litter issue. I've no idea of Henry's views on the matter and hope we don't find out the hard way

Know what you mean about reaching the stream Tim, I used to be able to pee a football off the roof when I was younger Now I just take the shine off my shoes

perhaps we need a wind powerd cigarette lighter for the smokers in the club?

Mines runs on electric so the geny would help
