I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Re: tucson arizona
You'd be suprised the level isn't that much better than the top guys in the UK, it's being consistent that makes the difference.
Can't upload so you'll have to wait a bit, I'll try my best, difficult to get the time to do it, currently at DA using their PC.
Just about to go for lunch as it's 12.15

You could interpret DA as being District Attorney, and Rich is actually in a spot of bother in America.....

Re: tucson arizona
Have you met Bill Hempel yet, he's having a mare sheered his prop hub the other day and now has Cheese-Toastied a tune pipe apparently DA has given him a couple to get him through.
And if you get one pic it has to be with Ashley from Higher plane productions, seen here modeling with possibly George Robinsons Glider (one for your desktop there George)
and her latest vid for thouse of us not in Tucson!

I don't like her. She has a mega wonky knee, which makes me want to stare at the wrong bits.....

Re: tucson arizona
According to DA's website the top "invitational class" pilots are mainly using DA 200's with a few 170's one 150, the only one undeclared on the website is Chip Hyde but no mention of electric in this class. Unlimited is almost exclusively DA 200 4 cylinders as well.

Re: tucson arizona
Sorry to disappoint you Guy's we saw the forecast & decided to go do a bit of sight seeing, Dave stayed at the shootout we went to see the meteor crater & a small part of the Grand Canyon.
The dust storm on Tuesday was unreal I have vids of it, the accident was less than 5 mins from our hotel it,s super fine red dust when it blows it's worse than fog.

Re: tucson arizona
Rich has just emailed me this photo of the desert around the area of the TAS, have to say the scenery is vast and stunning, very envious. From what I've read on Flying Giants the weather's good today and the first freestyles are scheduled for later in the day. Rich has found posting pictures online difficult to impossible
