I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

New TX for me
Picked up my New TX today.
Specs can be found here - http://www.graupner.de/en/products/1d80881f-8353-4c86-8a6d-2ebefc64e1c1/33116/product.aspx
Seemed to pass the field inspection tonight and the built in telemetry got Andy all exited.
More soon

Re: New TX for me
You should be glad I couldn't get the telemetry voice to speak to me in German, I would have had a little accident I think.....

Re: New TX for me
Lol I had the german voice playing last night very funny.
I had a look also at the jetti system. seem's that Graupners first crack at 2.4 was using the Jetti system, now HOTT is completly stand alone.

Re: New TX for me
Graupners first crack was using the American IFS system that was fundamentally flawed (there is loads of grief on the RC groups forum, look up XPS on there). I've been reading, and it seems the HoTT system is not compatible with the Jeti system, but it is remarkably similar in terms of features and price point.
I'm still quite impressed to be honest. The only issue for me, would be the fact the MX-16 looks like it is going to be the mid end set from Graupner, and as such, it is lacking a few channels. Oh, and there are no sliders available that are easy to access....
I'm going to wait to see what the Jeti transmitters look like when they come out though, I have a feeling I am going to find it hard to resist one of them (especially if it has a voice module with a female german voice.....)

Re: New TX for me
Well wrong wasnt I, I new the Jetti was similar to somthing lol.
The MX-20 will big the flagship for the time being. Graupner used to use the JR tx cases but have now desided to go it alone so top end TX;s may take a while

Or they could get an old tuperwear box paint it silver , give it a pointless touch screen that fuckes up when you touch it and charge the earth for it!

Re: New TX for me
That would be pretty useless if you were inverted at the time....
Unfortunately, the delta was on Spektrum, and therefore no telemetry, no bells and whistle, and I'm 99% certain that there was no Signal being received too....
Anyone want to buy a Spektrum AR500? Perfect condition, very rugged......

Re: New TX for me
Up until now, I have only had good results with it. I've got one in both rocket planes, and the little one has been faultless. I also used one in my old wing, which had many many hours airtime on it....
Maybe this is the kick up the rear I need to convert everything over to Jeti......

Re: New TX for me
Ill have the AR500 any day - got loads, and none have ever hinted at a problem. What price Andy ( bearing in mind its dubious performance, and crashed, and S/H etc )

Re: New TX for me
I'm not classing it as a crash, just that it was involved in a landing that was at a less than optimal descent rate and angle of attack.....
Dunno about a price though, make me an offer?
