I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Took the Extra 330 out for it's maiden flight this afternoon. Just put it all together and the heavens opened. Covered it over, made a cuppa, and sat in the car for three quarters of an hour. The rain stopped but when I got out of the car I noticed a hell of a traffic jam on the main road. Another accident outside the field!! Somebody decided it was easier to drive in the ditch than on the road. The police arrived, then an ambulance and finally a Fire Engine. I don't think anyone was hurt as the ambulance soon disappeared. Another police vehicle arrived, then I thought it was time to leave as the rain wasn't going to hold off for long. Took me 20 minutes to get off the field!! Should have stayed at home....... Sad
