I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Yes, I'm guilty. Went to Cosford with John Barrows, Henry, Will and Charlie. Weather was wet to start but cleared up around lunchtime. Very windy all afternoon. Trade stands were very poor, but speaking to one trader, he reckons a lot of them are suffering badly from the recession. It was very quiet as far as spectators were concerned, nowhere near as many cars as usual. We had a good day, spent loads, Charlie and Henry bought a 50cc plane each - good job John took the trailer!!! Flying was the usual stuff and most of the pilots had difficulty with the wind. 60% Sukhoi was nice but again the wind caused it problems. Overall a good day out. Very Happy

Charlie bought the 50cc Extra 300 and Henry bought the 50cc S Bach both Pilot kits from IAD. Very nice kits with very little to do to get them in the air. I don't think you need any glue to finish them. The stabilisers are bolted on and the fin is ready fitted. Just add the servos and fly!!

I think Chester was a write off - was due to go, but the Sunday - as you know - was absolute pants.
