I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

WANTED .25-35 2 stroke glow
I know I know, but needs must.
I need a glow engine for my new Funfighter, electric just insn't working out for me and has cost a fortune for a 2 min flight. (3 knackard ESC, one motor, 1 6s lipo and one 4s lipo)
So before I order a new one has anyone got a .25-.35 engine lying around that they want rid of?
Also looking for clow clip/starter/and all the other give you need for the smelly horible oily things.
Beer tokens at the ready!

Ive got an irvine39 that is made out of a 25 size crankcase out of my twister which is now wing less. Might be a bit powerful for a fun fighter though

Re: WANTED .25-35 2 stroke glow
BB,
back in the first incarnation of the fun fighter I remember someone in the Colchester club puting an Irvine 40 in a Mustang FF. A bit nose heavy but the main problem was the 'fish tailing' at full throttle. Just a thought.

Re: WANTED .25-35 2 stroke glow
Make the fin a bit larger (in terms of area) and that will sort any fishtailing that might happen. It's all down to the lack of fin area not being able to counteract (and damp out) the effects of the sprial airflow coming off the (larger) prop....

Re: WANTED .25-35 2 stroke glow
Fit a turbulator on the trailing edge of the fin/rudder that'll stop the fishtailing malarky
Re: WANTED .25-35 2 stroke glow
