2018-07-07, 21:07 by Gary M Jones

I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Had to leave the field early due to family committments, sorry I had to.

Ive already mention the comments below to Rich, but I feel I should let all know what I think...I visited a club a few 1000 s miles from here.It has superb facilities,Club House ,Covered Pits,Concrete Runways,Children Play area...no mud in sight.I went to visit with my eldest son and 4 grandsons....not one person spoke to us,acknowledged us or did anything to say even hello. What a Face
Rhyl is not perfect, but the attitude is totally different.Members help, offer to lend items and are generally very friendly and have enthuisam.
Congrats to Zaidy on fixed wing A

Nobody speaks to you Zaidy as we can't get a word in edge ways, especially if your engine cuts out, I must of counted eight times your engine cut out on one landing, that has to be a record

I know the feeling John, I was "Darn Sarf" a few weeks ago with work, and popped in to see one club there, and it was most strange. Everyone kept themselves to themselves, and there was no mickey taking at all. Very un-nerving!

Fingers crossed I won't need to relocate down there Smile

Cheers
