I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

2 or 4 stroke? Empty 2 or 4 stroke?

Okay, im going to get a slap for not knowing the answer to this - but someone tell me what the difference between 2 and 4 stroke engines are?
(Apart from the internal workings which I DO understand! - I know why they are called 2 and 4 stroke)
Just wondering what the advantages/disadvantages of one over the other are really if any?

None really. You only start to get disadvantages when you compare them to electric motors, which are clearly superior....

Two stroke produces more power for a given capacity because it fires twice as often, it also weighs less having less components. Four strokes sound nice though Wink Take no notice of the Chairman he preaches one thing and practices another Razz

The most important bit is they're all better than nitro. affraid
I'm running in the other direction now because Zaide will probably throw something heavy at me.

Not seen a four stroke engine small or light enough that runs on petrol not nitro.

I assume you are talking glow engines Ben & not spark ignition/petrol
