I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Hyperflight/Vladimirs models Elf - anyone fancy it?
Evening all.
I've decided to sell my little Hyperflight ELF. It is a small (1m span) Discus launch glider, that is super lightweight. It tips the scales at just less than 100grams, and is a nice little rudder elevator model for chucking about in the evenings when the wind drops. It will stay aloft on the slightest updraft, but handles a little biut of a breeze well too. It is surprisingly agile too. Full specs of the model can be found here: http://www.hyperflight.co.uk/products.asp?code=ELF
I have built the model with a spring/pull rudder linkage, and a pushrod on the all moving stab. The servos are Ripmax SD100s. They are powered by a Smart-Lipo 240. This is a small single cell 240mAh lipo with some clever electronics built in that act as a step up regulator (output 5v at 0.6A) as well as a charge controller, low voltage alarm and lost model alarm too. Full specs are here: http://www.hyperflight.co.uk/products.asp?code=SMART-LIPO-240&name=smartlipo-240
The model set me back a shade over £200. I'm open to offers for it
Cheers
