I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Im not convinced its in the drink....in my experience, most "lost" models end up much further back than you think - the slope wind sees to that.
Not saying it couldnt be on the "beach" but very very unlikely to be in the sea.
he just lost it for second, and it dipped out of sight ( familiar story ) and as he moved to the edge of the ridge to see if he could see it... he couldnt.

Zaidy, why not phone the Traing Wing at RAF Valley or the Hele place just up from the flying field and ask them if they have any plans for on overflight of the Orme Scheduled, the might just spot it from the air and might be glad of something real to look for. You've got nothing to loose.
Just a thought

I already did that this afternoon as soon as the "event" occured.
Checked every frame of the film, and no sign of it.

I've seen a few lost on the slope. Check quite a long way left and right of where you were flying. Walk along a good 50 - 200+ metres and as far down the slope as you can safely manage at intervals

I doubt very much it went into the sea, therefore it must be somewhere....

Good luck!

Allan I did go out as far as I dear mate, yes it has to be some where. Marty and myself covered a large area and I had a good walk/look around. Far too many steep drops for my liking pale
