Wanted 8ch 35 meg receiver

Hi all need a receiver for my raptor it went tits up today when is was tuning it, good job it was windy today it would have been in the air.

I need 8ch or more 35 meg it's to go with Futaba t9chp

Perfect time to upgrade to a decent Spektrum set then!

Don't think that will work with Futaba as JR SPCM is not the same.

No it wont - as Roy says, PCM receivers are specific to the brand.
If you dont want to go the 2.4G module route, then try Ebay, as 35 meg receivers are going for pennies these days

can't you change the Modulation via the Tx ?

Futaba & JR use different PCM codeing

Joking aside Alan - I have an old 35meg receiver I got out of a second hand plane a few months back. Genuinely cant remember if its 6 - 8channel but thinking about it im about 75% sure it is Futaba!
I fly 2.4Ghz so its no good to me - just sitting in my shed collecting dust!
Im at work at the mo but will check for you when I get in tonight. Assuming its Futaba and 8 channel - Its yours!

Thanks for all the info I do need all 8 ch on the raptor I have ordered one on ebay but if anyone has one would be handy, I run 3 models so I will keep 35meg for now bit pricey to change them all just being a poor mechanic.

I was winding you up about swapping to a Spekky set Andy - bit of a running joke!
Have checked my 35 meg receiver. It is only 6 channel - and I have honestly no idea what make it is - its definately not Futaba sorry!
Never mind bud, the thought was there!
