I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Cashmoor IMAC
I'm travelling to Cashmoor in Dorset tomorrow for my first IMAC comp for almost a year, to say I'm bricking it is an understatement.
Still I'm going to enjoy myself whatever hapens

Re: Cashmoor IMAC
Just got back, best part of a 5 hour drive after a day in the sun & wind
2nd out of 2, pretty close I think (until engine died on an upline)
Just don't really understand the new scoring system yet.
Couldn't do the unknown, half way through double known round today engine went lean, reduced throttle then finished sequence & landed, couldn't get it to run properly, will get carb off in morning diapram or something.
Thanks for you well wishes, very hot & fairly windy too 90 deg across strip

Got the bad rub there Rich, hope the motor's OK, if anyone can sort it you can. I've read elsewhere the strip was narrow and some barbed wire close by sounds interesting specially in a crosswind
Re: Cashmoor IMAC
to be fair it's a very large flying site for just the IMAC entourage that takes up the space
Re: Cashmoor IMAC
Good work Rich. An Electric plane wouldn't have suffered from those engine issues too

Re: Cashmoor IMAC
Just a big power source required to remotely charge something that produces 150cc equivelant power
Re: Cashmoor IMAC
nah not really somthing like 14s2p 5000mah giving 10000mah and you only fly once so recharge at home

Re: Cashmoor IMAC
The recharging at the field issue isn't a problem if you have enough packs, and I'm sure the IMAC lot can afford a few big packs
Yep. Just needs the finishing touches doing You flying on Thursday evening? The forecast is looking alright for some DLG action....
