I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Jem does PSS
Just a couple of snaps of Jem with his LEG "Fish" - watch out for a 200% scaled up version from that man Cocker, who I believe was impressed with it, when Jem had a few flights at the end of the PSSA event on Sunday evening.
Its no good hiding Jem we know its you :-)
Video here of some PSS inflight stuff with a couple of kefob cameras.

us doing some formation ( well trying too ) flying to finish the event.
My red Hawk, Phil Cooke and Rez Manzoori's Hawks, (Andy Conway design ).
There was a 4th Hawk - but it was sadly lost after tangling with the B52 over the Irish sea, and Simon with the "small" 9ft span B52....of which I now have a copy of the plan
Anyone fancy cutting me some BIG foam wing panels
Nice clips towards the end show just how close I was at times to Phils tail!
Super fun.

Tim,
Got a home made bow with max cut of 39''. It runs off my bench power supply 0-30v and up to 5A. You just need the templates and foam.

I already have a bow like that Allan - I dont think this is a job for a normal wire bow.

Re: Jem does PSS
I can see where your looking then, what is the panel length & cord, is the wing split into several sections
Re: Jem does PSS
Panel length is approx 1800mm - each panel is one piece
Root Chord = 460mm
Tip Chord = 193mm
( Eppler E205 profile )

"We're gonna need a bigger Bow"!!!
I'm sure i have seen a film with that line in it.....
In other news, would it be possible to split the wing into multiple panels that will work with your bow, then bond the foam cores together as required?

Re: Jem does PSS
Well yes thats one way, except I will then need to make up multiple profile templates to suit the chord at the join points.

Re: Jem does PSS
I would to in case it gets Hi-Jacked
My CNC 4 axis foam cutter has a max root cord of about 500, the panel length is in the region of 1000mm if you could split the panel were probably in business, can you send me a pdf of the plan via email I have Profili Pro to set up the wing I'll have a dabble with it
