I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

A new one and an almost finished one for this Easter. Both are scratch built from free plans, the Marquess is an R/C conversion of the famous C/L model. I used to fly one as a youff....

The second is a Push Moth, designed in '65 by Dave Boddington for the 'Elmic Conquest' escapement RC gear and was first published in 1965 apparently. This is my little tribute to him! I've scaled it up a bit as the engine is 1.5 cc and the original was for 0.5 -1 cc. Its also converted to 2 ch + throttle on 2.4 GHz

Both are steam powered of course
