I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

2011 Heli Guiness record attempt
Received an E-mail today from the RC Heli association -
The Eagles Flying club in Lincoln are aiming for the guiness world record for the most Rc helicopters in the air at once. Places are tight - they are only looking for about 50 more pilots to take part, and places are going quick!
The event is a full weekend 29th, 30th and 31st July - Lincoln air ambulance, local press and roumors of tv present too!
I for one would love a Guiness World record certificate hanging on my wall, and will book my place when I have spoken to SWMBO. Pm me if you want more details!

Just get all the model helicopters in the world put them in a big sack & get a Chinook to lift them in the air.
When they get to a reasonable height drop the f**kin lot in a big heap & do us all a favour.
Look on the bright side they would get the guinness world record with that as well.

Were you attacked by a helicopter as a kid Rich? - I detect a slight hint of dislike for them!

Nah I have one, I look at it every now & again then think what's the point.
It's just a standing joke.
Nothing personal

"The most radio controlled helicopters airborne at the same time was 31 and was achieved by the Radio Controlled Helicopter Association at the Eagles RC Helicopter Club in Lincolnshire, UK, on 19 September 2010."
This year they are going to try to beat it, which lets face it shouldnt be too hard to do!
Personally I think its worth the three hour journey just to recieve a World Record certificate!
