I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

New design prop
Have come across this on FG, it's a new style prop obviously and is out on a trial basis with some flyers at the moment. Interesting in as much as the tips run in advance of the main part of the blade whereas preceding types of scimitar style props have had the tip trailing the blade. Early reports suggest a 700 rpm increase over a similar diameter and pitch conventional prop on a 55cc petrol and supposedly quieter. Watch this space I guess !

Surely that's the point - its not like the conventional one - the sweep is opposite.
