I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Anyone know anything about the spektrum Ar7100?
Looks like its a 7 channel Rx, voltage regulator and a head speed governor all in one! All for 80 quid? Sounds a bit too good to be true!
Anyone got and experience or opinions? Suspect

Stubz,that receiver is awesome.
I use them on my nitros and it's basically a rev limiter that's built in and works much better than a govenor.
It is designed for running 8 volt servos and has a regulator built in on the throttle, rudder and gear channels.
It usually costs around £140 at most places and the version you want is the 7100R.The R version is the rev limiter, and the non R version is without.
When you plug a lipo into it your cyclic servo's will be ran at 8.4 volts,so you will still need an inline regulator.
On my 600LE I use the Perfect regulators 6.5V version.See here.
http://www.fast-lad.co.uk/store/perfect_regulators_in-line_voltage_%3Cb%3E65v_version%3C/b%3E_prr-65vinl-p-9048.html

That regulator is designed for the 7100R and makes for a very clean uncluttered wiring job.

So Stubz,if it's the R version you've found for £80 please share where you found it.Pretty please. bounce

Danny.

Cheers for the Info Danny Boy - Ar7000 for £80, Ar7100R £119 at Probuild - BUT - Just seen the sneaky SOB's are advertising their prices before VAT so with VAT they come in at £96 and £142.80 respectively.
Dont get too excited!

I thought I hadn't spotted him for a while.
The term "Conspicuous by his absence" springs to mind. Suspect
Not sure if that's spelt right.

Morning Morning. Been on my holeebops Smile

I've got a 7100r in my 700, and it is a mighty fine little thing. I bought mine from Fastlad in the end, not quite the cheapest out there, but only a couple of quid more than the cheapest price I could find (which was from some internet only shop I had never heard of, nor did they give any address details in their contact infom, so I steered well clear)......

I've got one stick of rock for you lot to share too. Although I am tempted to have a nibble now....
