I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Like Roy said, its best to get there around 7.30 or just after as the kids have a play until then !! then the big boys play after after , if you get my meaning

Re: Llysfaen indoor tonight?
Excellent turn out last night, its great seeing you all having a play.
My T-rex finally was airborne and had a bit of a play, Mark's Hughes 500 was airborne, Andy, yes its not a typing error ANDY was there and he finally saw the light and joined the ranks of the dark forces and had a T Rex 500 with him. Which he was hovering very well Although he emptied the hall, everybody was watching from behind a glass door. Good on you mate..
Allan W & partner had a new addition to the fleet a twister storm I think, not forgetting Paul and his fleet of helis and a new fixed wing that was very fast for the hall. Allan Patrick, Peter Slater, Jeremy, Roy, Tim, Brian (not sure of his second name but he is a very nice man (AA)), joined us too
Thanks to Brent for setting up the projector in the room and thanks to Dave for the use of his laptop (he couldn't be with us due to a family emergency).
A good evening was had by all.
Looking forward to seeing the pictures taken by Peter Slater, I am sure the ones of me look great but not so sure about the others
Models in the hall: Vapours, Blades CX2, Blades mcx, , Blade 400, Trex 450, Trex 500, Twister Storm
All the best

Re: Llysfaen indoor tonight?
Aye, it was good to catch up with everyone last night. I started out by breaking the flybar shaft retainer thingy on my Blade mCX after trying a bit of mCX combat with Tim. It must have happened literally seconds afte saying that was about the only fragile part on the whole thing! Ah well, I'm looking into getting a little metal replacement machined up now
Ah, the Trex 500. Well, it has flown! After spending a bit of time faffing around with the setup, and getting curves for this and that all sorted, it has hovered! Thanks to Roy and Jeremy for help with the setup too To be honest, that hall is a little bit on the small side for playing with a Trex 500. If I could, I think I would have stood behind the glass doors too! The sound of it spooling up was rather intimidating
I did learn a couple of things last night too:
1. Never take your eyes off the Vapors.
2. For some reason whilst flying helis in a hall like that, it is mandatory to stand with your legs further apart than is normal.
Cheers!
