I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

More clone receivers and vapor batts
Just placed an order with our Chinese friends at hobbyking for some stuff, and much to my surprise, spotted that there were eight units of the 6 channel "orange" spektrum clone receivers in stock.
I bought them all, and 5 have been reserved already for myself, Brent and Zaidy.
The other 3 are up for grabs, and to cover postage costs, will be £13 each....the same as the previous 4 channel versions.
I also added 30 odd of the slightly smaller capacity vapor cells ( 138m/a 10C ) and these will be £1 each to anyone who wants 'em.
I'll have the cells in the car, so just ask me when you see me.
Best to PM me though if you want a Rx, as only 3 left now.
All this assumes the customs dont get me this time.

Ok, just one receiver left, so if you want it, you'd better be quick.

Re: More clone receivers and vapor batts
Parcel finally arrived, but as yet I am still not up and about - however, hope to be able to make next weeks indoor and will the stuff with me.
These hard case 6 channel jobbies look pretty darn good - with a nice silicon sheathing on the aerial, and a socket for remote satellite unit too if wanted.
Escaped the customs man this time so receivers worked out at £12 each and Vapor cells £1.
I think I can remember who ordered what receivers, but let me know if the following is incorrect.
Myself X 2
John Bowman X 1
Zaidy X 2
Melfyn X 1
Brent X 1
Allen Patrick X 1

Re: More clone receivers and vapor batts
Yeh no worries, received x 30
Incidentally, these 6 channel receivers are currently on special sale at Hobby King for an unbelievable $7.95 which at today's rate is just £4.98. Staggering.
Unfortunately, when I placed my order in October, they were at $17.95 !!
Still a bargain I thought - at roughly £11 plus shipping, but now its just ridiculous.
The Vapor cells are now 99 cents too !
