I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Re: THE ORME
Guys,
Your really missed a fabulous afternoon. But I am sure work or school were almost as good
After checking in with the gliding meister (Tim), he confirmed that the wind is the right wind for the Orme. So thank you very much for your advice.
So Brent and Myself packed Brent's car with our gliders and off we went.
When we arrived at the Orme there were two other flyers there, we introduced ourself and explained that our Orme experience does not mount up to much (3rd time at the Orme and Brent is not that much more). As you can imagine we were not very confident and we were prepared to go home if it looked a bit hairy !!
Thankfully they were the helpful sort and offered to teach us not realizing what they were getting themselves into !
Brent took to the air in style with a big loop and landed right behind himself, but then he was airborne and gliding away.
Of course I didn't want to be outdone by Brent I was being helped by the kind man whom we met few mintes earlier and in true Zaidy style (or luck of) I repaid the man with a scary take off and a full loop right into his nose. Which resulted in a scratch and a bit of bleeding. How embarrassing
After administering first aid (not really), in between fits of laughter I took to the air thankfully it was good.
We had few flight and a great time.
Brent was doing loops, rolls, a bit of inverted, which all looked great.
The guys we met were Tony (harbour master and his mate John) great guys and very helpful and if it wasn't for them our models would have come back home in pieces !
SO Thanks a million guys, its been a pleasure meeting you.
It was nice to see Bob G there and he had two gliders a foam like Brent's and a really cool looking (fast flying with a V tail) glider like (Andy's and Rich's)
I really am looking forward to the next session, now I have a flying model

Im meeting up with a couple of the Denbigh crew on Thursday Zaid /Ben if youre interested in trip...you'd be welcome.
Zaidy...you will generally find that most sloper types are friendly and only too willing to help out - glad to hear you had a good day.
