I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Post by Guest 2008-11-17, 20:52

Trying to drum up some enthusiasm recently, Mark and i began building a depron jet each. with the aim of some winter dogfights. mark has a hawk on the board and im going for an su47. both to be powerd by brushless motors and lipos.

Hopefully we will get a few more on the go so get down to B&Q get some depron and get buildin!!!! Bell motors r fine on these so no excuses over expensive gear either.

Top that off with a pile of free plans at www.parkjets.com

The more the merrier

If you get some Depron in, save a sheet for me Smile I'm liking the look of the little DH venom...

Nice one. 50" is a bit on the large side I reckon! I'll download the plans today, and get a set printed at work. I'm sat here looking at a little GWS EDF40 ducted fan unit, and wondering Smile Smile

Just wondering, are you going to paint these foam creations? What paint do you use?

yes im planning on painting mine up and im sure young Leigh will be doing the same, any foam safe paint will sufice, leigh uses acrilyc paint in his airbrush to good results and we also discovered that the rattle cans for spraying lexan r/c car body shells works really well on depron so thats what i`ll be using

I think Mark's hawk will be known from hereon as: LadyHawk...

Now, where is the "rolling around the floor laughing" smiley when you need it Smile

My Venom is going to have a tasty Winter Camo colour scheme I think!
