I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

The Guardian today
UK Hawk planes fleet grounded by fault
The UK's fleet of Hawk training jets have been grounded after engineers detected a fault in an aircraft.
The problem with the ejector seat of one of the jets was spotted during an on-site inspection at RAF Valley in Anglesey, where Prince William is training, on Tuesday morning.
Hawks have also been grounded at RNAS Yeovilton among other bases.
The fleet will not be permitted to fly until each aircraft has been inspected individually. According to the MoD this will also affect the Red Arrows' ability to fly.
Hope they clear use for this coming weekend at Rhyl

Premature ejection would not be a nice thing
Is anyone planning on going to the Airshow this weekend? I understand the majority of the flying display is on Sunday. I'm thinking about heading over with the Wench (and little monster obviously) in tow. Not sure where I'm going to head for yet though...
