I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Weekend31st/1st
Forecasts are looking slightly better for the weekend although probably enough wind for either the Orme or the field. Think it'll be the field for me as I'm still trying to sort the motor in the Ultimate
Re: Weekend31st/1st
No flying for me this weekend, I'm over in Macclesfield living it up in a posh hotel courtesy of Tesco's clubcard
Well, I say no flying, I may have accidentally left my Microbee wing and tx in the car.....

Re: Weekend31st/1st
Well what an afternoon, there was a good turn out with pleanty of action!!!
Mark dumped his not so fast pylon racer into a bush, not to sure how that turned out I managed to lose a wheel during flight which made for an interesting landing!
Im getting there with my stall turns and invted curciuts
Rich flew the big yack 54 with a bit of a bouncy landing
Also Bri's big Ultimate 200 was absolutly beatiful in the sky!

Re: Weekend31st/1st
Yes good afternoon, great turn out, and I think a good time was had by all. I seem to have cured my engine woes on the Ultimate but still need some experimentation with props me thinks.
A big thanks to Rich for letting me have a play with his new Yak 54, a fantastic machine an absolute joy to fly, only trouble is it's something else on my wish list now, I suspect it will be on the unfulfilled list for a long time though

Re: Weekend31st/1st
Up early can't sleep for some reason so got some pics from yesterday out of my camera. There's three of Richie's new Yak and a general pits shot, probably the busiest pits we've had for a while and the weather wasn't too brilliant, "BBQ summers" who needs um
Re: Weekend31st/1st
Thanks to Brian & Mark for all the help getting setup & ready
Sam, I've got 2 wheels on my wagon but I'm still rolling along..!!!

Re: Weekend31st/1st
Cracking day yesterday (quite literaly)
Was great to see so many people out enjoying what in fairness were pukka flying conditions.
Rich`s new Yak is fantastic, im insanly Jealous, Bri`s Ulti is now behaving mush better dipite it trying to give me a heart atack when it backfires, Sam and Peter are both flying really well which is nice to see.
Mike had a good day after a carb rebuild from Rich, and everyone else seemed to be trouble free apart from little old me
Can you spot the plane?
