I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ

Fishing equipment
Have decided to give up angling completely, and we have a load of stuff here ( sea, and freshwater gear ) most of it is in very good condition - some items never even used.
Rods, reels, (fixed spool and multiplier ) Fladen floatation suits, various tackle etc etc.
Cant be arsed to fleabay it, so reasonable price accepted if anyone is interested.

Re: Fishing equipment
I'm interested Tim, perhaps not in it all, but something for fishing off a pier, or the seafront? Do you have a list of stuff or something?

Re: Fishing equipment
I used to do some fantastic things under the pier at Rhyl in my teenage years, absolutely nothing to do with fishing and definitely cannot be listed here
Off to cut the grass while I remember

Re: Fishing equipment
Hi Andy, havent a list as such, but can get one done later today I guess.
I have both Pier/Boat and beachcasting stuff, as well as freshwater.
Ill put up a list here if thats OK - wasnt sure how the club may feel about non modelling stuff appearing on the forum
Maybe we can do a swop for spare / unwanted RC gear.

I had heard that Brian....and was told that it did resemble fishing due to the size of the worm

Re: Fishing equipment
It's fine by me Tim, the classifieds section is for the use of Club members, and who knows, I might want to do an RC conversion of a fishing rod.......
I've got a part built PMP rampage that just needs some servos and covering if you are interested?
Cheers!

Re: Fishing equipment
Possibly, although it obviously depends on the value of the goods being reasonably mutual IYSWIM.

Re: Fishing equipment
2 beachcaster rods and 1 reel now sold, but still a fair few left, and
loads of little items too of course.
9' GF spinning rod ( old ) £5
12' float rod (new ) £30
6' pier /boat rod GF newish £5
11' CF rockhopper bass plugger superb lightweight rod ( new ) £45
8' CF light spinner rod (new ) £25
2 aluminium double rod rest tripods - one with rod sockets - £10 each.
Reels vary from £5 p to £45 for the ABU silverline levelwind multiplier,
all small bits are cheap !
Coleman stormproof petrol "tilley-style" Lamp, almost new, £45 no
offers, or I will keep it :-)
2 x Fladen floatation suits 1 x XXL, and 1 X medium ( £90 each new )
worn once. £45 each.
Lightweight high quality landing net and bag £20 - used maybe 3 times max.
2 "headlamps" one with remote battery pack - both for a £5
Most stuff open to offers
