Who`s going down then, looks like we finaly have some good field weather

I'm doing my chores now, and hitting the field this avo too. Got the weekends allocation of Jet fuel to burn

I will try to get there by 1-2ish but will keep an eye out just incase the weather turns sour

It was just VERY windy and no one flew anything, other than andy.
So is it flying weather?
I dont want to travel from bangor and end up having to go home due to the wind

Me, mark and andy have all come to the same conclusion that it is the Tx, so tomorrow im going to give Horizon UK a call and see if they can help me out!
Other than that I enjoyed myself!

Yep, I reckon there is something up with the Tx. It could be a dodgy aerial connection.....

Schulze stuff is always going to be decent quality

Now get yourself a slightly pitchier prop on there, a 17x13 would still keep within the ESC's max, you aren't really caning the packs, and you'll get another hundred watts or so. 900 is good, but 1kW plus sounds much better

Even better would be to chuck a 80-100A ESC in there, up the prop to a 17x15, or 18x13, and then cackle like a slightly deranged madman as it will really rip then! I'd do it on mine, if I wasn't already treating the motor with more than a little contempt. The Hacker B50 in mine is rated at 1200W max for 15seconds. I'm running it at approix 1500watts, and it does get pretty toasty after a 10 second burst of power!

So if I happened to have an 18x13 prop in the back of my van on Thursday, you wouldn't want to borrow it, just to see what happens?
