I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Just had a call from John in ward 6 at Glan Clwyd, he's in there with diverticulitis which I know from personal experience to be extremely painful and in my case I ended up losing about a metre of my bowel What a Face John's asked that if at the field over the weekend we fly high so that he can watch Wink

Please pass my regards to John. If I was back home I would be more than happy to fly my heli really high just for him so he can watch out of the ward windows. I know deep inside he loves heli's

Visited John this afternoon, He was in bed, desperate to see some RDMFC flying action from his window. The red shed (field next door) is visible.
He finished with a drip today. still had pains and also was feeling cold.
He is waiting for further investigation and tests, possibly CT and ultrasound scans.
He's got access to papers and has borrowed a library book "The fraud of William Shakespeare" from the book shelves next door.
Apparently, his Doc sent him direct to the Hospital after examining him.

Visiting 3-4 PM and 7-8 PM evenings
    Car park £1-10p

Yes Marty, many Hospitals the same. Run by "accountants" not doctors.
I could leave the car at Sainsbury's, then use the 51 bus to Glan Clwd with my free bus pass.
Hospital parking is contracted out. The contract expires soon and until then the fee is reduced to £1-10p per visit.
There are though, free parking passes for some patients and visitors who make regular visits. Cancer, Dialysis, Medidoc etc.

I didn't realise! being a "Biker" I tend to park anywhere and growl at meter maids and threaten to eat their children but really ..... to have to pay to visit people who need support is outrageous!

Average charge in London area hospitals is at least £5 per visit. We have it easy compared to many English hospitals.

Visited John yesterday and as Paul has said he's in good spirits, but some not inconsiderable pain, he'd undergone a CT scan on his liver and kidneys which were all clear. He was expecting to undergo more tests today. Arrow

Popped in to see JHB tonight - he is his normal chirpy self and "looks" well enough. The hospital are still unsure as to exactly what is the problem, and tests continue.
he has been moved to ward 5 (in a separate room).
