I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Even though Andy seems to be thinking a day ahead
Its cracking flags out there today , Even though not an official club night I take all Thursdays as a flying night.

What a great night at the field, lots of people and lots of flying.
The Aerotow was just genius, the mist made plying "weres the plane gone" fun, and I perfected the inbetwen the hege KE pass
Top stuff
O and came home with a new plane so all is well

Re: Thursday 20.5.10
If only Jem could build his planes properly, we could have had loads more aerotow action! Perhaps the tow until we hit the clouds approach was a bit excessive though....

I really enjoyed my flying today/tonight....got home around 9.30 so a good 5 hours session, with mostly flying, and a small dose of chit chat. Thanks for the pie Dave
Great fun with the aerotow too :-)

Re: Thursday 20.5.10
Ah yes the good old foggy midlands, I remember once at around eight years old driving home from Stoke to Biddulph in Staffs sat on the O/S/F wing of the old man's Riley Pathfinder torch in hand picking out the cats eyes to get us home, took forever
Re: Thursday 20.5.10
The torch had been invented then Brian?

Re: Thursday 20.5.10
Info: I'm not far from Andy's home and the mist has returned so that I can no longer see Tesco's (poor vis). Post when you want an update.

Re: Thursday 20.5.10
Neither do I, but I guess you would like to see your plane! It's a reasonable indication of visability, especially to Andy.
