I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

It was with dismay that I read the events of the past week but at the risk of being called pessimistic I would like to be brutally practicle. Dave did not plan on this happening and therefore all of his modelling equipement is not set up for long term storage. It may be some time before he comes home and some what longer before he is able/willing to begin any modelling activities. It would be very disheartening to find engines internally corroded and electronic equipement destroyed by leaking batteries. May I make this plea for someone or a couple of people, who know what to do, to make arrangements to visit his home and do what is neccessary(ie engines require after run oil/auto transmission oil worked into them, batteries unpluged and removed from Tx's etc). I live in Abergele and do not know where Dave lives but would be willing to help if needed.

I think Steve Price will have that in hand if necessary, as he lives pretty close to Dave, Allan Wink
