Saturday 7/7/18

2018-07-07, 21:07 by Gary M Jones

I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Morning Sam, I don't know about anybody else but I think it's gonna be a bit damp today so I'm gonna give it a miss.

Indeed the forecast is for much dampness, I may nip out for an hour to test fly my big glider now it has some new prop blades, but other than that, I've got a new seal to grease up and fit!

From my location at the back of Abergele, looking over it, it is sunny with blue sky and a Northerly breeze. Looking at Rhyl, can't see the field there's a house in the way, it looks the same. It could all change rapidly of coarse. So, your decision.

Blue sky and sun, with the odd cloud coming through as of 1pm today in Abergele Smile

I'm heading down there in an hour or two if the weather holds out...

Well, the weather held out until about 6pm Smile I only took my little chucky glider, but had some pretty good launches, and even managed to make a complete mess of the odd little bubble of lift!

I got back home to find a little parcel with the proper motor for my Jibe, so that is getting shoehorned in tomorrow, and then we can go racing, yeah!
