I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Kats progress
Hi all, I am glad to say that after a mamouth session with the doctors and consultants down here in Poole the news is that Kat is still good to go so to speak and that surgery has been scheduled for the end of the summer.
She has asked me to thank all of you that have enquired after her over the last few months
and is threatening to come down the field at the end of the year when she will be spending some time in Wales recooperating from her op.
Im`e back tommorow after a call at Maidenhead to get my DSX12 fixed (do`nt ask) so hopefully out flying Thursday.

Re: Kats progress
OK here goes. Last week I managed to drop a T REx nitro box on it from a great height. This broke the base of the arial but did not disconect it . Meant to put some heatshrink around it but never got around to it. Called at the field last Thursday on the way to Poole and took it out of the case by picking it up by the arial which pulled off dragging the wire off the RF board Got to poole and after removing all the case screws could not get the case apart
So no flying for me at the weekend. Thanks to Steve Roberts (F3C team member)at MacGregor I was able to call in on my way back and he fitted a new one while I waited. It seems the one screw I did not touch drops the back off the RF module and exposes the connection. £31.00 for 15 minutes work including the new bits. Not bad.
Anyway the up side is that he told me where I might pick up a s/hand F3C fuzz for my 700
