I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

Just got back from 90 minutes or so spent chucking my Mini-Fireworks around. Think I have nailed the launch preset now, and the lack of wind was perfect for some low level aerobatics*. I'm just hoping this bout of nice weather isn't all we get for the summer!

Andy

*okay, some of the aerobatics may have been slightly lower than ground level, but there was no damage to the ground, nor the model, so all is well Wink

10 consec. loops & three rolls is the benchmark for the proper DLG's not the baby stuff

Oh I forgot a 20min. + thermal flight last autumn as well YEH.......!!

Don't worry Rich, I shall return the "longest thermal flight from a hand-launch" record to it's rightful owner before the summer is out (that's me by the way!).

As for loops, I prefer to go for the tightest loop, instead of the most consecutive. Chicks dig tight loops....
