I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ Smile .

When I was an apprentice we used to "chill "bluebottles then stick em (by their rear ends) on to trianlgular pieces of paper, leave em in the sun to warm up a bit and then watch these Delta's wizz around ........ mmmm great fun! tongue not for the flies, obviously Wink

Spray flies with hairspray. Each application lowers the tone of the flies "buzz", and reduces the thrust available. Good for tuning those multi-engine installations, where you have asymmetric thrust situations....
