I was at the field today between 14:00 & 15:00 all on my own , good flying too. There is a dead sheep along the fence line towards the gate from the pits, I saw the farmer so reported this to her. I hope no one had plans for a BBQ .

Launch dolly
Dunno if this is in the right section, I'm sure one of the admin boy's will move it if not. (Thanks)
I was discussing a launch dolly for my Easyglider with Tim & Mark yesterday.
I was just wondering if anybody has one knocking about collecting dust that they may consider loaning me for a short while?
All donations gratefully recieved

Thanks for that SamSam Thomas wrote:to get free stuff you have to make it sound like you have NOTHING, After all its worked a treat for me!
I have two issues with that aproach:
1) I'm not a 14 year old who dosn't even have a paper round.
2) When you become a little more mature you will realise that people will help more when they see you making an effort to help your self.
I need a launch dolly for the test but after that I will never need to do ROG (with this model) so a loan of one (which is already made but possible redundant) is a first obvious avenue to explore

I was tinking along those lines Rich, its not as if theres going to be excessive loads on it.
Re: Launch dolly
I made one many years back with a few hardwood strips, bolted together with wing nuts to allow quick and easy folding into a flattish shape. All sorts of simple designs abound, including simple piano wire.

hehehee
Well you better be careful now as I can fly (ish) and you never know when a radio fault may occur and I will lose the plane into the pits and completely obliterate a waiting 2 wheeled hunk of steel. (Is there a rule that says I cant carry a bomb in my plane?)

Re: Launch dolly
Some of your posts in this thread Sam smack of bravado and ingratitude, giving you the benefit of doubt and allowing for your youthfulness (which is always wasted on the young) I'll say no more.
