Ailerpns r elevators?

I have a DXi6 and gonna use (if I can get it to work) a spec AR500 RX in my Xeno
The Spectrum manual says for elevon wing type connection:
Aile servo port & elev port.
They are working but it would be good to have them on the right sticks!
(I'm mode 1) The ailerons are working on the elevator stick and the elevator is on the aileron stick!
There are two aileron ports on the AR500 and Ive tried both.
I've changed the servos over (dunno why but I did anyway)
Can I change what stick does what via the TX? it's all jargon in the manual and also the explanations arn't very clear or concise.
Can someone point me in the right direction?

On my Easy Glider I'm supposed to be able to set up the ailerons as spoilers and at the same time the elevator feeds in a bit of down ..... mmmmm thats easy for you to say lol
How is that achieved? I mean, what menu page should I be looking at? I tried to set it up but the end result was the spoilers going down and only one aileron working ??????

Have you set the wing mix to "elevon" in the tx main menu?
To set a little elevator compensation when deploying flaps or spoilers, either use the dedicated flap set up setting, and dial in the elevator required, or simply use a free mix to mix ail (master ) to elevator (slave, and do likwise. easier to do thatn describe. Why not bring the gear along at the weekend and we can sort it before we do the maiden?

Tim's the best one to get you through this. He has already taken Sam Thomas through the mysteries of the AR500 Rx and making flapperons work.
See some of the posts between them, seems to have gone quiet since it was sorted
